Control Who Comments On Your Posts

Promoting meaningful conversations with your constituents or supporters is a powerful way to build community. To help facilitate these discussions, we’ve developed a series of comment moderation tools that give partners the power to engage in fruitful discussions while limiting potentially unwanted interactions.

If you are sharing content to News Feed or your Facebook Page, you will be able to select from a menu of options for who can comment on a given post. For Facebook Pages, these options range from anyone who can see the post to only the people and Pages you tag*. For Facebook Profiles, options include public, friends, and friends of friends. When combined with Meta’s existing Page moderation tools, the ability to manage who can comment on your posts makes it even easier for you to prevent potentially unwanted interactions and promote safe and meaningful conversations with your community.
