How to Level Up Your Facebook and Instagram Photos with the Canva App
Boost My Business with Tan France is an original show on Facebook Watch where fashion entrepreneur and host Tan France visits small businesses around the world, helping their owners pivot and grow online. While Tan offers personalized advice to each business, his tips are applicable to all. They cover a range of topics like improving product photos or creating more engaging videos. We’ve adapted several episodes of Boost My Business into a series of easy-to-follow how-to videos, starting with: How to level up your creative using the free Canva app.
Watch Facebook Creative Shop’s Shahaz Ahmed as she helps the founder of Eusebi Deli create professional-looking ads using unique angles, adequate lighting and the free Canva mobile app. Some pro tips include:
- Use props to enhance your photo, but don’t go overboard
- Try unique and unexpected angles for more thumb-stopping power
- Photos for feed should be square for optimal results. Consider a 4:5 for videos.
- Apps like Canva allow you to easily use photos and videos to level up your creative
- Ensure your final creative includes your logo. Add it in Canva or include it in your props.
- Include a call to action in your ad creative to drive action from your audience.
Follow along below to see examples of how to put these tips into action:
