Two New Credential Offerings Available through Facebook Career Programs

In July 2021, we announced the launch of Facebook Career Programs to support diverse job seekers through specialized training, career credentials and a job search platform to connect people to jobs. Today, we’re excited to announce two new career credentials in growing fields of Marketing Analytics and Spark Augmented Reality Creator.

• Facebook Marketing Analytics Professional Certificate: According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs outlook, the demand for marketing analysts has grown with over 96,000 job openings projected each year. With the new Marketing Analytics Professional Certificate program (powered by Coursera), we’re giving anyone who has a passion for data to build a career in this field, no experience necessary. The six-course certificate program will walk learners through the skills needed to provide an overall view of how marketing campaigns are performing against goals through data and insights. It explores analytical skills, tools, data visualization, statistics, segmentation and more. On completion of the program, certified learners will earn both the Coursera and the Facebook Marketing Science Professional Certification.
• Spark AR Creator Professional Certification: As the AR ecosystem continues to grow, an early but thriving marketplace for professional talent is also taking shape. That’s why we’re excited to provide AR creators with a specialized training program to demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency with Spark AR, and an opportunity to earn a Facebook Certified Spark AR Creator badge starting November 10, 2021. The certification program is designed for advanced-level AR creators who are seeking to distinguish their AR skills in the marketplace, either to help boost their career or to pursue more creator-for-hire opportunities with brands and agencies.
